Inline+Vertical mode: New feature request

Hi all, how could be difficult to implement a feature that combines 'inline' and 'vertical' mode like shown here:

It's essentially an inline mode but when the mouse is over a menu item, if it's collapsed, submenu items appear as popup like in vertical mode.
