If you're sure this is Active Mode and not Service Mode, the only thing I can think of is that it's caught in a loop somehow. Can you email your log files in %localappdata%\MSEdgeRedirect\ to [email protected]?

My bad, it's not Active mode, it was Service.

Same issue here: constant 12% to 18% usage on an 8-core CPU and Windows 11 23H2. I don't know what Install Mode is; I installed the application using Winget.

This is a small update. In service mode, I had high CPU usage with the option "Disable Windows CoPilot" turned on. When I turned that option off, the high CPU load disappeared.

I too see very high cpu usage. between 5.5-8% consistently, even on restart, its using my cpu more than other foreground or background program. I have start service mode on, i will disable this and see if i can run it non service mode
