Steps to reproduce
A. Open site in a browser. B. Edge icon pinned to taskbar C. Drag from lock on browser to Edge icon on taskbar- a pinned item is created. D. Click that pinned item
With EdgeRedirect configured, nothing happens, whereas if the same item is pinned in that manner to e.g. a Firefox taskbar icon, that works.

I haven't been able to reproduce but I'm unsure what you're referring to as the "lock on browser" in step C
Hi Robert, thanks.
First, I haven't been able to use/install MSEdgeredirect on this PC in active mode after an update- maybe 7.1.
Tried service mode and that had problems.
I uninstalled it completely, having tried several times.
Now on 22H2, I've just downloaded MSEdgeredirect- active mode has no effect. It goes thru what appears to be the installation sequence with UAC prompts, license- then nothing.
Service mode works.
As to the particular issue: seems ok with 7.2 in service mode, thanks.

/Explanation: dragging from the lock icon to the left of the address field in the browser e.g. to the desktop creates a URL shortcut there/
Current behaviour with 7.2 in service mode:
=> The pinned shortcut in Edge's jump list does now open Edge.

Thanks- this will have to wait some weeks as I'm travelling, I'm afraid.
Gave it a quick try- Avast really doesn't like it... just too busy to go further presently.

Hi, with v0.7.4.0 I'm still seeing no response to the item pinned to the Edge jump list I'm afraid.
(Note: Had to add the MSEdgeRedirect folder as an exception to Avast. Just kept scanning it (1 min) and uploading it to Avast over several hours - not something I regard as an issue- just a comment in passing).

Yep, still looking into this. Hopefully will have a fix by 0.8
