Question: Do captions only get transcribed to file after the stream/recording/virtual cam is stopped?

I've been tinkering with this and I got to the point where I noticed the caption files (txt or srt) are created as soon as the stream/recording/virtual cam starts, but they remain empty until the stop button is pressed.

Is this the expected behaviour?

Also, how do you activate debug logs?

I'm experiencing the same and would like to know whether it's possible to continuously stream to the file.

UPDATE: after running it for a bit longer, I noticed it writes to the file every 5 minutes or so.
