Declaration Reference of startScan and retrieveConnectedSuccess

I'm not absolutely sure if I see this right but i get errors if i use "startScan" or "retrieveConnectedSuccess" as intended with three parameters because just one is expected/needed. I looked into the Decleration Reference-File and there really is just one parameter declared. I'm no expert on this put it would be intresting to know if this is how it was intended and i maybe just don't get it :). Or maybe the Decleration-Files are not quite worked out yet.
