Problem using this plugin combined with SharePoint Framework

First of all, I love this plugin and it's features.

I've tried to implement this into SPFX but no matter what I keep getting errors.

https://www.npmjs.com/package/table2excel

after running the above link, I've tried require('table2excel') and import 'table2excel';

But the error I keep getting is Unexpected anonymous AMD define.

Have anyone managed to get this to work?
