Actually thinking about just culling all the DD metadata handling so we use a Dict or NamedTuple or `nothing`. It will be annoying to check keys but its worth it...

He means master of the documentation package. When thats registered we will push a fix here.

We already have the DataAPI.jl dep for `grouby`, someone just needs to hook it up to `metadata`.

I think it used to error, we mustn't have actually tested that it did. But now Im not sure if it should? A zero length range is allowed in indexing.

Ah ok that makes sense. Yeah it should be out if bounds.
