Nice idea, but as far as I know, browser extensions cannot have access to the CPU usage data of browser tabs. I'll keep this open for suggestions.

Does the Twitter tab happen to be open before the extension is installed?

Go to the options page and clear the "prepend" symbol. When you have too many tabs, having this symbol does not make sense.
