Vimr keeps crashing when trying to open it

Not sure why this keeps happening but whenever I try to launch vimr it crashes instantly. I've even removed it from my system but it still crashes - does it cache or store files it needs on the system that I need to remove ?

Try removing ~/Library/Preferences/com.qvacua.VimR.plist

Same issue today suddenly appeared, without an update of macOS nor VimR...

Try removing ~/Library/Preferences/com.qvacua.VimR.plist

That didn't help sadly.

Any suggestions?
