Is it possible to keep this component open until user clicks outside the datetime picker?

As soon as I select date the popup closes, and I have to select it again to select the time. Since in my use case I always have users selecting both date and time, it will be better to keep the popup open until the user selects or moves focus to another component. Is this possible?

The only way I could think of is to have 2 instances of this component one for "Date" and other for "Time".

I am also going to ask the same question, as it doesn't make sense to have to click twice to change the hours if date is first changed, which is the normal flow of thing...

agree, would be great to have the timepicker option open as well
