Closing window(s) from julia

Sorry other question: would it be possible to

1. work out whether there are any windows open currently
2. close some/all of those windows from julia (maybe something like electronclose(;windowsid=[:win1, :win2]) )

Seems like very basic functionality that PyPlot and GR provide.
