Find a way to merge efforts with Lookout

We've got some patches running around in lookout/statsd and I'd like to merge efforts and get all our code "upstream" if possible.

I noticed that the gauges support got pulled over, but I don't think some other code did. What can we do to unify efforts?

I couldn't find an email, so that's why I opened up an issue :)

My big question was around the logic of merging some of the gauges code but not some of the other code from lookout-statsd.

I'm also curious if you've thought of a time frame for subsequent releases to rubygems.org?

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do, could explain a bit more about what code you want/don't want to merge?
