qBittorrent "Saving Torrent Progress" Windows 10 1903
Referencing https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/10014
It is stated there that it has been resolved but for me the opposite happened: until 4.2.1 I've never encountered this issue but now I have for every shutdown. So it is definitely not resolved.
10.0.18362
This issue is still present. I made a dump with a hanged qbittorent.

Rolling back to 4.2.0 makes the problem go away, but is just a bandaid.
in v4.4.5 is not resolved yet, it take a lot of time for closing (more torrent you have and more time he take) but if you watch process from task he not doing nothing 0% of cpu
4.5.2 and Windows 11, still happening after all this time
Still persistent on 4.5.3. Running Windows 10 19045
Ditto for 4.5.4 Windows 11 22H2. It outlasts the attempt to shut down, and ends up turning it into a log off instead.
I'm new to qB but it still seems to be an issue. 4.6.5 on Win 11. Because qB takes so long to close it completely stops Windows from shutting down. Instead, the monitor goes off. When I press a key I'm presented with the sign-in screen.
Looking around various places it seems to have been an issue for many years.
Someone somewhere suggested: Tools>Options>Adanved>max_concurrent_http_announces
Set that to 500 instead of 50.
qB still delays the shutdown a little, but Windows seems to shutdown now. I have 1k+ torrents.

If you experience the reported problem or similar in the latest version, please open a new issue report with the requested information in the issue template.

A new issue report with relevant updated data gathered from the latest version is preferable to necroing an old report with a comment like "still happens in version x.y.z", even if you think the bug is the same, or suspect of a regression. Due to the changes made to the qBittorrent code and its dependencies over time, the exact cause of your problem could be totally different than the original one, despite the visible symptoms of the bug being similar. Thus, providing relevant updated information is crucial to find and fix the root cause of a recurrent problem or regression.
