Once we try to save, the file does not save as PDF as standard file extension

First of all, thank you, this is amazing.

When I'm saving the joined document, it doesn't save as .PDF automatically, I had to find the file and add the extension or add it manually during file name creation.

Hi and thanks for the kind feedback. I'll be sure to add automatic extension-adding to the next update and leave this issue open until then.
