Thanks for pointing it out @mattfysh. I hadn't seen the feedback. It's quite a big upgrade, so I imagine it might take some time to fully get right. We'll discuss internally what the right strategy for the pulumi provider is.

@re-thc The Terraform provider has had some fairly major breaking changes in the new major version. We are working with Cloudflare on a migration path for users.
If you need immediate access to any of the features in the new major version you can use https://www.pulumi.com/blog/any-terraform-provider/ to generate a local Pulumi SDK for the v5 TF version.
