Overlay, Blend and ColorBar Modules Do Not Work With GIFs

Please describe the problem (or idea)

The Overlay and Blend modules do not work with GIFs (because we don't have a good way of getting pixels of previous steps for manipulation).

ColorBar is a meta module that uses the Overlay module.
