Is there an existing feature request for this?

  • [X] I have searched the existing issues before opening this feature request.

Describe the feature you would like to see.

I would like to have the port allocation settings page clearly say that you need to restart the server - after you change port allocations.

Describe the solution you'd like.

A box message that states what server you need to restart in order to apply port allocation changes after you made them - So that the users do that at the appropriate time.

Additional context to this request.

My plugin includes a webserver and people need to allocate a port for it - Despite including that you need to restart the server when using pterodactyl after allocating ports in my setup instructions in bold, people don't do it. My guess is they do the allocation on their own and don't read my instructions.

This leads to people coming to my discord and asking why 'Connection refused' to which I have a bot command setup to tell them to restart their server.

This is around 75% of all setup support requests for my plugin and I would very much appreciate if I didn't have to tell people to restart their server when using pterodactyl anymore.

The root cause for the need for restarts seems to be that docker container needs to be restarted for port allocations to apply.

I was told that there exists a green popup saying "you need to restart the server for your changes to take effect"

I suggest you change the color to be red or yellow instead
