Describe the issue
I have try it some game zso format with OPL v1.2.0-Beta-1940-d58e721 seem to work until now, the game Disney's Treasure Planet i try it with zso not play only the iso format, and the Jackie Chan Adventures (Europe) not play with all format and mode, i try it and cso format but not show it inside in opl i dont know if support, what else format can try it?

Disney's Treasure Planet SCUS_971.46 in zso format and Jackie Chan Adventures SCES-52412 all format
What method did you use to compress the iso into zso from opl manger, maxcso or ziso.py by commands? No cso works in opl, zso is already a variation of it made for devices with little ram memory at most, it may be that in the future they add format to jso which should also be possible even with file limit of up to 4 GB per ' iso' cannot be higher, but for now there is no prediction that this will be implemented. So games incompatible with the zso format is normal, so I'll try to test these games to see if I can find something similar for you!

Did you use maxcso with that specific command 'maxcso --block=2048 --format=zso input.iso' If yes is correct, the method you are using for iso compression. I tested the games mentioned and Disney's Treasure Planet SCUS_971.46 it only works in iso and not in zso, however it is very different from Jackie Chan Adventures SCES-524.12 this works in iso and zso as long as mode 2 is enabled. Make sure your device is not fragmented or try compressing the iso in another program. I recommend this one below! ISO-ZSO Compressor

oh i know it, i try it again with format iso with mode 2 but for sure i format again the usb and try it
@skelletR @INDRAPhilip no link to warez. If you want to share info about the game, use redump.org and compare md5 checksum of your iso.

I try it again, but the same result, only black screen and show me only inside logo Jackie (dragon icon) Chan Adventures and stuck there, maybe somethinh with my playstation or usb

i try it with latest stable and the latest beta 1940 still the same the only left is another usb
I only recommend using another USB Device if formatting in fat32 depending on the size of your device the cluster alignment is 4KB or 8KB in exfat always user 32KB, or 64KB NOT 128KB, as it makes the device very slow to load themes and games in the list.

Yes, opl beta 1.2.0 already has support for exfat being better than previous format, but it will not work if you play a psx game through Popstarter.

@skelletR I was retesting the games to make a report for 'Open-PS2-Loader-Compatibility-list' and to find out why Disney's Treasure Planet game on zso didn't work. At first I thought it was the new format, but it's actually GSM that was causing a black screen in the game. In the iso version, the game is only extremely fast, with GSM enabled different from the zso version which ends up causing the black screen. At least that's what solved the Game and it's working for me😅😌!

For the game Disney's Treasure Planet in zso to work just do not enable any mode besides deactivating the GSM it worked normally. I don't know if you load OPL by USB through FreeDVDBoot, it may not work because it hasn't been updated to the new SDK, but in that case, it's only if you have a memory card, put Funtuna or Opentuna itself.

unfortunately i don't have a memory card for ps2 only use and a dvd with FreeDVDBoot

In that case, I just recommend me to buy a Memory card or wait for an update of FreeDVDBoot for now, it doesn't get updates anymore, the most updated one you will find me will be ps2homebrew FreeDVDBoot.

It is not necessary to burn another freedvdboot image. You can keep using the current. You can try to play with various Launchelf versions, just place them in usb and launch from FreeDVDBoot wlaunchelf, and then launch another wlaunchelf from usb, and then launch opl. Not sure if that helps, these games may require some strange iniialization from fmcb.

i found a solution must merge this https://github.com/ps2homebrew/wLaunchELF/releases/download/latest/BOOT.ELF into FreeDVDboot have instructions for Custom disc setup. and after that if work the exfat support work

My PS2 model is SCPH-90008. I use redump images and don't use PADEMU, VMC, GSM.
