Losing access to account made with Google

- [X] I have searched the tracker for existing similar issues and I know that duplicates will be closed
Describe the Issue
I created an account using Google, changed email, confirmed it, and then couldn't log in. Tried logging in via Google again and it created an entirely new account. I had to delete it and then reset password for the first account, because no one had asked to set one to begin with.
Steps To Reproduce
- Create an account using Google
- Change account email
- Confirm the new email
- Try to log in.
