Losing access to account made with Google

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • [X] I have searched the tracker for existing similar issues and I know that duplicates will be closed

Describe the Issue

I created an account using Google, changed email, confirmed it, and then couldn't log in. Tried logging in via Google again and it created an entirely new account. I had to delete it and then reset password for the first account, because no one had asked to set one to begin with.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create an account using Google
  2. Change account email
  3. Confirm the new email
  4. Try to log in.
