Unable to delete Postman account

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • [X] I have searched the tracker for existing similar issues and I know that duplicates will be closed

Describe the Issue

When click on "Delete account", after I sign in again, it doesn't delete account. I doesn't receive any feedback or messaga, simply I remain in the same page.

Steps To Reproduce

1 Go to Account 2 Click to Delete Account 3 Sign in

Do we have any update or workaround? I do have the same situation.

Heyall, I am currently having this issue where, after sign in, I get back to the Delete account page, and nothing seems to have happened. My data is still there (at least my profile pic, as I manually deleted everything else before that), I can sign out and then in, etc.

In postman network tab I could see following error: User needs to be removed from all the teams before deleting user's account

Even though I am not part of any teams.

@KoushikSahu , email them Support, and tell them you're not able to delete. They are quick to respond.

Postman support is super quick at resolving issues. I explained what was happening and they did something from their end that allowed me to delete my account. This is what I got from them for why I was not able to delete my account in the first place:

The reason this did not work for you initially was because you were a part of multiple teams at one point in time. And when you did leave the teams, our system didn't fully update triggering the delay. We then manually updated on our end which allowed you to then delete your account.
