API Lifecycle Weekly - May 5th, 2022

This is a weekly public meeting to discuss the different areas of the API lifecycle and governance, push forward discussions around how the API lifecycle applies to OpenAPI and AsyncAPI, and work on extensions, platform ops collections, tooling, and blueprints that will help the community be more successful.

Agenda:

• Platform Ops (Specifications, Design, Mocking, Documentation, Environments, Testing, Security, Monitoring, Discovery, Workspaces, Client, Source Control, CI/CD, Gateway, APM, Orchestration, Observability, Governance, Analytics, Teams,Change, Automation)
  • OpenAPI Security Scanner API - Check in on the OpenAPI Security Scanner API.
• Blueprint - Moving forward blueprints, elements, and creating content, workshops, and curriculum.
  • Explorer - Playing around with a new tool for filtering and understanding how things work.
  • Lifecycle - The public workspace where blueprints are published.
  • Pipeline Flows (Repo) - Visual diagrams of common lifecycle blueprints.
  • Worshops - The current outline for workshops.
• Platform Governance (Workspace) - Move forward with storytelling around linting rules.
  • OpenAPI Linting API - Our API for linting OpenAPI.
  • Default Rules (Evaluation) - What are the default set of linting governance rules.
