Hello, is there a target date for the plugin update to support Strapi v5?

Hi!

Thanks for your interest in the v5 support of our Sitemap plugin. I'll state the README to answer your question:

[!IMPORTANT]
This plugin is currently being migrated to the Strapi Webtools plugin suite.

During it's migration, this standalone version of the plugin will only recieve bug fixes. All new features will be added to Webtools.

From Strapi 5 and onwards, the Sitemap plugin will only be supported as an addon of Webtools, deprecating it's predecessor.

thank you very much for your work, you're awesome !

Maybe there is a possibility to develop v5 first? and then when you finish with pluginpal engine and migrate it to v5 it will become a part of it.

because out of ~3k users I think about 20% are already migrating to v5.

Or do you have a plan to make it a paid plugin?

We’re working on the v5 migration of Webtools, and in extend of that the Sitemap plugin, as we speak. It will be done very soon so I don’t want to waste our time working on the old version! So please be patient ❤️

In regards to monetisation, the Sitemap plugin will remain a free plugin as it has always been.

It has been a while, but the migration of Sitemap is finished!

The Sitemap Plugin can now be used as an addon of our Webtools plugin for Strapi v5. It still has all the Sitemap functionality you're used to, but with some added URL management features out of the box from Webtools. To read more about Webtools addons, please refer to our documentation: https://docs.pluginpal.io/webtools/addons

The code of the Sitemap Plugin has also been moved to the Webtools monorepo. So if you encounter any issues going forward, please report them to that repo instead. It can be found here: https://github.com/pluginpal/strapi-webtools

The standalone Sitemap plugin will remain in use for Strapi v4, but will eventually be deprecated when we reach the EOL of Strapi v4.
