Agreed 100% Same can be said about our user api, it needs some reorganization. Let's work on this as part of #472 when we meet on Monday.

Initial efforts were made in #472 , however the remaining usage examples (such as face areas) need to be migrated.

We should definitely consider a complete rewrite of our testing implementations in the near future, using Pytest instead of Unittest also.
