I can't open PG Admin.

It gives me this error: Fatal Error: "The pgAdmin 4 server could not be contacted"

I have seen that forever, since Postgres version 12, this problem has been there.

Why has Pg Admin not been able to solve this problem since?

This is the same question asked in Stack Overflow, 7 Years ago --- https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43211296/pgadmin4-postgresql-application-server-could-not-be-contacted

I had to Google and Google, and watch Youtube videos upon Youtube videos like this one ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w5zrGqeXBU ) -- before I was able to finally solve the problem.

Now, it will look as if, because it's free software, we should not complain.

My take is that, if you choose to do something, do it well.

This is 7 Years from the issue I cited, and I just wanted to start studying Postgres in July 2024, yet I encountered a problem that has existed with Pg Admin since 7 Years ago.

How come a 7 Years old issue, hasn't yet been successfully laid to rest by Pg Admin?

Why do I still need to face such issue in 2024, which issue someone has had 7 Years ago?

@CordialGit Sure we want to fix any such issues. Why would we drag it for 7 years as you say? But this is something which we're not able to reproduce. It is very difficult to fix any issue which is not reproducible. If you have any clear concise steps then please share.

No response from the author, and no clear reproduction steps hence closing it.
