There are some wysiwyg editors for markdown. may be nice to use one in peer-pad.

Stack Overflow's PageDown seems to be the standard here

that being said I think this is out of scope for our product vision

I think this would be fun to do as a separate demo ... I want to be able to show that it's easy to hook peer-base into any type of editor.
