event loop lag

Experience when we tried using PeerPad today for the working group session. For some users, the browser event loop froze now and then, making the app irresponsive.

Hint 1: crypto was high on the profile graphs. Hint 2: At one time in the past, I tried turning off DHT and it improved quite a bit.

Even if this is an IPFS problem, I feel that we need to get to the bottom of this.
