Updated wireframes to reflect v1 features
Immediate dev ToDo’s:
- [ ] Better mobile styles
- [ ] Formatting on rich text docment is inconsistent with the markdown preview pane
Wireframes to make:
- [x] Menu details
- [x] Multiple users in the text area
- [x] Dev mode UI
- [x] Online status
- [x] Hints panel
- [x] Mobile styles for menus
- [x] Create new doc from existing doc
- [x] Share document link
- [ ] Snapshot user flow
- [ ] Export user flow
- [ ] Display document outline
Questions:
- Right now, the spacebar toggles the markdown and preview buttons. It’s potentially confusing UX. Not an expected behavior.
- I would imagine the Hints panel could have unique content for each pad type. Who would be responsible for creating this content?
- What’s the purpose of a login without the dashboard page or semblance of ‘verified’ status?
- Include comments/conversation? It seems out of scope for beta, but I wanted to double check based on what I saw on the spreadsheet.
- Re nicknames: “I think the nicknames are currently kept in local storage, so they would persist across documents in the same browser.” ← From Jake. It would be great to get this sussed from a UX standpoint.
- Is ‘Display content outline’ realistic as a Beta feature?

Commenting and Outlining features have been removed from the beta scope. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g5X6-ky4D1t2sFe_HNU3MCn9O3IuA-JTkqqIrkrzNfU/edit#gid=0
Since we have limited time remaining before end of July let's try to limit the new feature scope as much as possible
@pgte @akrych could we get some feedback on these wireframes?
