I'm not sure if the problem is related to the device but let me some time to get a Nexus 6p device to check what's going on.

Hello, maybe I'll add something to this issue. I've noticed the problem on a couple of Android 6.0 devices. Tested on Nexuses 5 (two of those), 6 and, 9. With every of those the problem is: ADB WIFI: /system/bin/sh: netcfg: not found Hope it helps to locate the issue (can test if need be) Best regards

Guys, I don't have a Nexus 6p and I'm not going to buy one xD. We have two options to fix this. Debug it by yourself and send me a PR with the fix, or send me a Nexus 6 :) As you wish :P Sorry for the inconveniences :(

I was able to connect Nexus 6P, when it was on cable and set connection to PTP. Plugin said, it's connected. When I pressed button "Run", in dialog was Nexus twice - one for cable connection and one for wifi. But when I disconnected cable, both records disappeared.

I have exactly the same problem than @nonahex with a Moto X 2nd gen (XT1092).
