Single selection display

With a single selection list, the selected item is also displayed above (or below) the select. This uses up two lines of space. For single selects it would be nice, if it looks the same as a regular select and the selected item is being displayed within the search box.

Hi pbauerochse I would like to know if there's a way to do this. I'm using your control for single select only and the button is not necessary in my case.

right now this is not possible but I'm planning to integrate this soon.
