Design request: Poorly cropped windows in Overview

Open ghost opened this issue 7 years ago • 6 comments

Linux Distribution version

Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 64-bit

Gnome Shell version

3.14

Xorg or Wayland (or both)

Not sure; will update later.

Extension version or branch

I guess the latest version (3.26).

Description of the problem

I get to see sloppily cropped windows in the Overview. I'd prefer the window selector from the default GNOME Shell before I installed this.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Simply activate Overview while a window is open and on the current workspace (commonly by dragging mouse cursor to the top-left corner of the screen).

Would you provide a screenshot of the problem?

I still need some clarity on this. A Screenshot would be helpful.

@alireza6677, What dash dock are you using (Dash to Dock?). Also, what other extensions do you have enabled?

I'm not using any dash dock extension (the default gnome dash). Just checked all the enabled extensions and it seems the Multi-monitors addon and this extension aren't compatible.

Currently, WtD and multi-monitor addon are not compatible (at least the multi-monitor functionality of placing the thumbnail slider on multiple monitors). Both extensions access the same Gnome Shell code and end up stepping on one another. See issue #80 and #124 for more details.
