I see. So you are looking at real WMS Layers for Leaflet here? In this case, #29 and/or #40 might be closer to what you are asking for?

At https://github.com/panodata/grafana-map-panel/issues/47#issuecomment-577636383, you said that

So, may I humbly ask if you actually are working on supporting WMS Layers within the Map Panel? If you are doing so, I would be more than happy to hear about it.
