That is a _really_ cool idea, and would be quite unique among terminal emulators I believe. It may well be possible to implement that.

Vala and intltool are both listed as dependencies. After installing them, does it build now? If yes, can I consider this bug fixed?

Thank you for the report. This bug is actually caused by bash trying to be too smart and taking over line wrapping when Final Term can already do that itself....

Hmm... I don't know about you but this sure looks and sounds like a window manager bug to me. Workspace switching is completely out of control and context for Final...

How is the behavior with other Clutter-based programs such as Ease (some of the newer GNOME games are also based on Clutter I believe)? Do they have the same problem?

This looks like a duplicate of https://github.com/p-e-w/finalterm/issues/152; do you have the latest version of Final Term?

Could be a GPU driver issue. I'm afraid I do not have a better guess given the information available.
