is there any progress? We are forced by our security department so upgrade jquery to 3.5.0 or later.

Hi, any progress on this PR? As others have mentioned the jQuery parts of OC-core are quite old. I may have to ice our instance if there's no resolution soon. Thanks!

Please let us know if you find an issue with the jquery delivered in the current owncloud core release that is not already patched as mentioned in the link above.

The problem is that most security/vulnerability scanners just scan for the version number and are reporting this as vulnerability. From a technical point of view, everything maybe fine with the current release. From a management point of view there is a red flag on every scan we do. I know, there can be exceptions set up, but this is always complicated to get those exceptions.
