It's clear I don't understand how any of this works at all.

But now you're saying the user needs to download some Jellyfin package? This is getting confusing. What does Jellyfin have to do with anything?

I assumed you were referring to the ffmpeg binaries offered by the jellyfin project, those binaries bring support for rockchip, that's why I posted the link.
