Installed in OCI Workspace with another App, want to use other App application based authentication

Have a single OCI Workspace with an existing App using application-based authentication. Installed Polling App in same workspace, different schema than existing App. Turned on Workspace Sharing in both App Shared Components App Authentication. Added a button in orig App to redirect to Polling App to test, but errors and says: "You are not authorized to view this application, either because you have not been granted access, or your account has been locked. Please contact the application administrator. Access denied by Application security check". Also, do not want to break ability to e-mail links to polls. Suggestions please. (And, thanks for the Polling App, a big help) Thanks
