File downloads but it remains as zip.tmp even after finished. Works fine when I download to internal storage.

This happens on Lineage 14.1 with root access activated in app

I have the same problem with a 5.1.1 Samsung s5 running a rooted stock ROM. Manually changing the name with a file manager fixes the install. Deleting a downloaded zip also doesn't work. I have to go manually delete it with a file manager.

I am sorry for this bug. Unfortunately downloading to external storage gives more problems than expected while using the official downloadManager API. Starting with the next big update, we will use our own downloader that will hopefully solve this problem. It would be great if you could report back how things work when 1.2 arrives on your devices! :)

@beatbrot Any word on when we can expect 1.2? That way I know when to be on the look out for the update and can test it out. The version I have is really close to working since all I have to do is manually rename the file (on the SD card) from .tmp and then click install in the app.

Exactly the same issue here. I have the .tmp issue and the delete issue on Nexus 6P 7.1. This I think is because my folder is #ROM/ROM. If I use a folder without # then it works.

The same. Any actually Status? Android 7.x/8.x and App V16. Internal Storage work. External not working!
