What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Turn off the network
2. Add a new cell data and save
3. Upload

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I hope the app can remind users that there is currently no network and there is a button to terminate this operation, but instead, app is infinitely loaded and cannot be stopped unless it is cleared from the background

What version are you using? On what operating system?

I'm really sorry as I don't have much time to invest in the project right now.

I began work on rewritten scanner client as well as a modernized server stack, but my daytime job is eating up all my time.. Helping hands always welcome :-)
