How do I install openai?

I had this problem,error: subprocess-exited-with-error, when I installing. My python is 3.9.16 pip is 23.0

Did you install / upgrade python recently ?
Also the log line from .macosx_libfile import calculate_macosx_platform_tag is suspicious since you are on linux. I would say reinstalling python and python dev would be a start.
I think there is not an error occurring under these OS/Python/Library version constraints.
