Consider using https://github.com/greenkeeperio/greenkeeper to keep dependencies up to date/another strategy

As discussed on slack, we can probably achieve managing dependencies with renovate:

would just need a proper renovate config (which even support automatically merging PR if all tests are green) so that could be mitigated pretty well :slightly_smiling_face:
