Image viewer is glitchy on iOS

A few issues with the image viewer on iOS:

• Two-finger pinch gesture to zoom is too sensitive: it jumps to 1000× zoom and is hard to control.
• When zoomed in, swiping from the left triggers the “go back” event.
• The image viewer is already full screen; why is there a ⛶ button to enter a second full screen mode?
• The second full screen mode has two close buttons (one close button for each full screen modality).
