Thank you for the offer! Regarding the "signifiers", I just realized they will move to the settings soon, anyway. (See https://forum.obsidian.md/t/task-management-devs-define-a-shared-date-and-action-format/)

Have done so, determined the issue with the description filter and the change to strip dates out of description in the task object.

@schemar is this still in the works? For my use case, I use tag dates (see https://forum.obsidian.md/t/using-dates-as-tags-does-it-make-sense/26024) and it would be great if I could specify a date format of #YYYY/MM/DD so it would insert the tag when I complete a task

=/ very bad for me, the most wannable feature. Why? Because i wan't to make date format to match my date-tags format like: #date/10-10-2022.

I know the code isn't mergeable due to the passage of time, but the ideas in it will still be useful whenever this topic is picked up. Thank you for your work on it.
