Upgrade TransitionGroup

Upgrades the minimum react-transition-group dependency to v2 and updates references.

This code works for the project that I'm working on, but there may be use cases that we don't cover and the tests don't cover. Please let me know what comments you have.

@nygardk I also have a project that would be improved by this enhancement, any chance you can review this, add maintainers, or transfer ownership of this repo so we can continue to maintain it?
