Directory opens as file in hyper theme

This is a backup up dir with the neovim config, but it's counted as the most ordinary file, so when i execute the letter command to open the telescope project search, it opens an empty file instead ( my guess is that it happens because of the .backup extension, that's why it's counted as a file)
