Cannot get /

Changing the base to anything other than '/' in config/nuxt.js results in "Cannot get /"

We are trying to run our app under a prefix (per developer) i.e.:

https://www.ourdomain.com/prefix

We cannot use subdomains due to DNS and Certificate restrictions.
