@Gabez0r @GuruprasadAnk1996 IIRC we requested people to use the enter key in the fulltext of auto search because otherwise typing would send too many requests to the server and create performance issues.

So, we have two options from here:

1. Remove the need to press enter in auto search but keep performance (maybe by using some kind of debounce or something?). If we do that, it needs to be consistent everywhere and not just in assets search. => it would certainly be appreciated by our customers, as long as performance is not impacted => scope might be bigger than what is requested in the support ticket, so maybe we could consider that as an improvement

2. Play it safe: keep the existing behavior that you need to press enter in auto search => solves the support ticket, so I would say it is ok and most likely the safest option to choose here

It is my understanding that we already have debouncers in place that prevent too many request to be made, so I wouldn't expect this to degrade performance, but I would recommend double checking.
