[Bug]: Sorting by Availability not working when legacy_availability_payload is configured to false

What happened?

The availability payload can be a JSON object now (when legacy_availability_payload: false config option is set). When this is in use, sorting the devices list by Availability does not work as expected. Clicking on the 'Availability' heading just rearranges devices in some seemingly arbitrary order.
