GPT4All v3.6.1 Update & Uninstall Both Crash Due to Invalid Code Signature
Steps to Reproduce
Updating
- Launch GPT4All (v3.6.1).
- A modal appears at startup, indicating that a new version is available.
- Click on the Update button in the modal.
- The application crashes immediately.
Uninstalling
- Open the maintenancetool application located in
~/Applications/gpt4all. - Select the option to uninstall GPT4All.
- The application crashes immediately.
Expected Behavior
- Clicking the Update button should successfully download and install the new version without crashing.
- Running the maintenancetool should fully remove GPT4All from the system without issues.
