v3.3.0: Settings->LocalDocs->Embeddings Device only remembers "Application default" (which is what?) as a selection

In v3.3.0 the setting of "Embedding Device" in LocalDocs settings if set to CPU or CUDA then the program is closed, the respective selected value in the combobox is Not retained/remembered/used for/in the next session of the program, but there is no selected item in the combobox, so SelectedIndex must be -1.

The only selected value which is retained/rememebered/used from one session to the next is "Application default" which to the user (like, The User) says Absolutely Nothing.

Expected Behavior

The selected value, be it CPU or CUDA or something else than "Application default", once selected - because the user selected it - should be remembered for the next program session, otherwise why let the user select anything else than "Application default" which is the only one remembered?

Truly disappointing.
