Transfer from Debian Sid to Windows 10 and vice versa fail

Open fethomm opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Trying to transfer files between Debian Sid (nitroshare 0.3.3-1+b1) and Windows 10 (0.3.4 x86_64) fails both ways with different errors. The detection works fine for both devices. Sending a file from Win 10 to Debian Sid, I get: Transfer failed: The remote PC has closed the connection.

On Debian Sid the error is a bit more elaborate, but I can't debug it: Failed: An error has occurred in the SSL protocol process: error 140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol. Sending in the other direction (Debian Sid to Windows 10) just ends up hanging endlessly with the app stating on both ends Connecting forever.

Also, on neither side did the app create the directories ../Downloads/Nitroshare

I'll see if I can reproduce the SSL error with a Sid and Windows 10 VM.

Am also having a connection problem Windows 10 to Ubuntu 17.10. Ubuntu can see Windows 10 desktop, but Windows can't see Ubuntu. Subsequent attempt to transfer files from Ubuntu, gives a timed out connection fail.
