fNIRS support in nipype

Hi all,

So something I've been looking into is whether or not to make Julia or python versions of either SPM-NIRS or the nirs-toolbox so that I can use them in the stack that I currently work in. Would it be possible to integrate either the nirs-toolbox or SPM-NIRS framework into nipype in the same way SPM is loaded into nipype?

I know right now there is MNE-NIRS as well but it's newer and I would like some of the more mature tools to be available in this framework.

Any feedback would be much appreciated and happy to help with this as well.
